Farmersville High School Cheerleaders recently competed in the UIL state cheer competition. Last year, our Lady Farmers competed at the same competition. The placed 42nd out of 43 teams. They left with the determination to work hard and come back next year better and stronger.
That is exactly what our Lady Farmers and Farmer Joe did! They have worked hard all year in preparation for the January UIL state tournament. After putting their very best on the mat, our FHS cheerleaders were invited to compete in the state finals. This would be the very first time a FHS cheer squad would compete in the state finals. Despite their excitement and nerves, our cheerleaders gave it all they had! They were awarded 15th place out of 51 teams! We couldn't be more proud of each and every member of FHS cheer.
While FHS Cheer is proud of their accomplishments, the driver to climb higher in the state finals is already motivating them to work harder. We cannot wait to see what next year's UIL State Competition holds for our Lady Farmers and Farmer Joe! Congratulations FHS Cheer! Go Farmers!
